AIG Malik Saad Shaheed
Malik Muhammad Saad Khan Shaheed gave his life in line of duty while reviewing security arrangements of a religious procession in Peshawar. His courage, determination and leadership inspired many of his friends, peers and subordinates. He had a remarkable career as a CSP officer in Police Service. After serving in many staff appointments and leardership roles, Malik Muhammad Saad Khan was appointed Chief City Police Officer (CCPO) of Peshawar. Earlier, he had led the police force in dangerous areas of Dir and Buner. Very few officers in Police force earn the respect of local citizens. During his career, Malik Saad served in United Nations mission in Mozambique as well. A dynamic person and a sportsperson, Malik Saad also initiated different sports activities including cricket and hockey.
Malik Muhammad Saad Khan Shaheed embraced martyrdom while protecting citizens during one of the most tense times of the year. He left many of his friends and ordinary citizens saddened by his sacrifice who continue to remember him every year on his anniversary.
