Amazing Pakistani Social Workers
Ali Khayal
A simple Pakistani. One of those many who suffered physically because of an incident and his suffering paralyzed him physically, but lifted him to those heights of personal fulfillment that became a beacon for many others to follow.
Ali Khayal, a 18 year old boy suffered spinal cord injury during an attempted robbery. His injury left him partially paralyzed. But he never let this come to him and took on the mission of helping those who'd need help in becoming as normal as possible. He established with the support of his family, a hospital for physically challenged. He undertook demanding work of fundraising and traveled to different parts of world to get his initiative internationally recognized.
Today, Ali Khayal is no more amongst us. He died because of his illness in 2001 but the mission that he started has grown to be a full-fledged hospital for physically challenged. His dream has become a reality and he became an Amazing Pakistani by all definitions of the word.
Pakistan and Pakistanis will always be proud of a hero like Ali Khayal who showed to the whole world that human endeavor can actually attain the impossible.
