Fatima Jinnah

She is popularly known as Quaid's sister whose life was dedicated to serving his brother during his struggle for Pakistan. But as an individual, Fatima Jinnah was an Amazing Pakistani who worked on different fronts for Pakistan even after death of his brother in 1948.
She started living with her brother after death of wife in 1929. After that she dedicated her life to her brother's mission and stood by him all along. She became so popular as a companion of Quaid during Pakistan movement that she is known as Madar-e-Millat or 'mother of nation' even today.
Her legacy was in helping the newly established nation's political system in line with vision and dreams of its founders and she made sure that people of Pakistan stand united. She even took the hard decision of contesting national elections against Ayub Khan and despite her defeat, her popularity was never compromised.Fatima Jinnah died on July 8, 1967 and was buried in Quaid's mausoleum.
