Amazing Pakistani Heroes
Mir Muzaffar Jamali Shaheed

Until recently, Balochistan used to be a peaceful province with hardworking and dedicated people struggling to achieve progress in different fields of life. Some extraneous elements who always had animosity for Pakistan found opportunity to start hatred-based campaign among Baloch people. Their campaign and terrorist activities rose to the point that in many parts of the Balochistan, it became an arduous task to openly express affiliation for Pakistan.
In these testing times, a brave school teacher who had already had amazing contributions in spreading literacy in impoverished areas of Balochistan took it upon himself to explicitly show affiliation and affection to Pakistan. Mir Muzzafar Jamali never had any governmental support nor he had financial prowess to spread his word far. But whatever he had, he used it for his country and continued singing of national anthem and raising Pakistani flag in the school he had ran for years in Kharan district.
Baloch terrorist groups warned him and threatened him but he paid no heed. He kept Pakistan's flag high and continued educating the less privileged children in his district. Finally, on May 27, 2012 he was attacked by armed militants who sprayed his vehicle with bullets. Mir Muzaffar Jamali sustained fatal injuries along with his son and attained martyrdom while his daughters, his nephew and a passerby received injuries.
Mir Muzaffar Jamali paid the price for Pakistan's name with his life. His words in one of the social gathering became his legacy even after his martyrdom:
"Paying the Price of life for loving a country like Pakistan is just worth it"
It is only heroes who get to live up to what they say!
Pakistani nation salutes this brave son of soil and today there are many who are demanding Mir Muzaffar Jamali be awarded Pakistan's highest Civilian award for what he did for his country deserves no less.....
