Noor Jehan is considered by many to be one of the legends of Pakistani music. Her voice is praised by music maestro from Pakistan, India and many other countries. Popularly known as 'Malka-e-Tarranum' (Queen of Melody), Noor Jehan was also one of leading ladies of Pakistani cinema in many box office hits.

During the 1965 Indo-Pak war, she would record war songs which became inspirations for soldiers and civilians alike.
