Syed Sulaiman Nadvi
He is known widely for his contributions in completing the work of his mentor, Maulana Shibli Naumani; a comprehensive book on the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), "Seerat Nabvi (PBUH)". Contributions of Syed Sulaiman Nadvi are considered praiseworthy by many who consider this book to be one of the best on the subject.
Three years after Pakistan's independence, Syed Sulaiman Nadvi shifted to Pakistan in 1950. Before his death in 1953, another important contribution by this legendary scholar was in shaping the constitutional paradigm of newly born state. Syed Sulaiman Nadvi helped align the constitution to Islamic orientation.
